Neela wins on Food Network's "Chopped!"
Congratulations to Neela for winning tonight's episode of "Chopped" on the Food Network. If you missed tonight's exciting show, you can catch a rerun; check the Chopped web site for "Duck for Dinner". Over the years you have seen Neela sweat in the kitchen but now you get to see her "sweat" on television!
For those of you who are not familiar with the show, it is a competition between 4 chefs who are given a mystery basket to prepare first an appetizer in 20 minutes. One chef is "chopped" after the dishes are judged and then another after preparing the entree course in 30 minutes. The remaining two chefs vie for the "championship" and a prize of $10,000.00 by completing a dessert in 30 minutes. And Neela did it!

People Are Talking
We WILL be sending our guests to this flavorful trip to India.

The food is very tasty, authentic, spicy but not too much. I have a weakness for Naan. Napa can use some more quality diversity in our restaurant scene. For a small town we boast a pretty good line up and Neela’s is a good fit.
– Ken Frank, La Toque
Everything was beyond outstanding, the food, the service and the beautiful décor – I’m dreaming about coming back again soon.
– Nora Chambers, Calistoga Ranch
We could not have enjoyed our dinner more !!! We thoroughly enjoyed all of the entrees and especially love the breads. I have shared the menu and favorable comments to my fellow Concierges and I am certain they will also be recommending Neela’s to our guests.
– Jan Hayden, Concierge, Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa
The entire evening was a delight! Enjoyed the food more than any other Indian food I’ve had! Will definitely recommend to guests!
– Lisa Ross, Calistoga Inn
I was very impressed, and predict the restaurant will be very successful. The food was delicious – there wasn’t one dish that I didn’t enjoy. I thought the vegetable dishes were particularly excellent. The restaurant is very attractive – classy with just enough of an ethnic touch.
